Ron Zalkind

Ron Zalkind is a Founding General Partner at Lama Partners, an early-stage US-Israeli VC firm focused on cybersecurity and AI. A serial entrepreneur and company builder, Ron has founded, scaled, and led high-performance technology organizations, including CTO and CISO-level roles across 1,000+ person orgs. Ron co-founded CloudLock, a cloud cybersecurity company acquired by Cisco in 2016. As CTO of Cisco Cloud Security, he led product strategy as the division scaled to $500M+ ARR, 100M+ users, and 30,000+ customers. He also co-founded Aprigo as CTO and VP Product. Ron served in the Israeli Air Force's Ofek unit, is a MAMRAM graduate, and holds a BA in Computer Science from the Academic College of Tel Aviv-Yaffo. Outside work, he enjoys tennis, snowboarding, and exploring new technologies.
